1: Available When You Need Us: We understand that not every patient can attend a dental appointment during normal working hours. That’s why we open most of our Pacific Smiles Dental Centres six or seven days a week. Some of our Clinics are open evenings and public holidays including, Boxing Day, New Years Day, Good Friday and Easter Sunday.
We also understand that patients who are genuinely in a dental emergency need priority attention. That’s why we try to keep some space available in the appointment books every day for patients with a dental emergency.
2: Accessible Locations: Pacific Smiles Dental Clinics are located in highly accessible locations, close to parking and major transport routes. Many of our Dental Centres have their own car parking for patients and all of our Dental Centres are wheel-chair friendly.
As the network of modern and comfortable Pacific Smiles Dental Centres continues to grow throughout Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland, accessibility for patients will be enhanced even further.
3: Array of Services: Patients today want the convenience of all or most required services being available from a single location.
Pacific Smiles Dental Centres provide general dentistry such as check-ups, scales and cleans, tooth coloured fillings, crowns, dentures, tooth whitening and custom made mouthguards. In some locations, additional treatment such as orthodontics, dental implants and treatment under IV sedation is available. Treatment under general anaesthetic (sleep dentistry), can also be organised through some Centres.
4: Affordability and Value: For most patients, the most affordable and cost-effective approach to dental care is good dental hygiene, a healthy diet and regular visits to the dentist for check-ups and cleans.
To assist in making those regular visits (and indeed all dental services) as affordable as possible, the dentists at Pacific Smiles Dental Centres have Preferred Provider Arrangements with major health funds and some participate in government funding schemes such as Veterans’ Affairs and The Child Dental Benefits Schedule.
Dentists provide written estimates for treatment plans before treatment commences allowing patients to be fully informed as to expected fees and charges.
5: Attention to Patient Service: When you visit a Pacific Smiles Dental Centre, our care and service starts from the moment you walk in the door or call us on the phone.
Our friendly staff and independent dentists are trained and motivated to provide you with outstanding personalised care and service at every interaction, whether it be at the Reception Desk, in the surgery or on the phone.
6: Assurance of Quality, Compliance and Safety: You need to feel absolutely safe and secure when you visit the dentist and at Pacific Smiles Dental Centres, you can be assured that our Centres are compliant with Australian infection control legislation and regulations. We have sterilisation tracking systems to track individual instruments to individual patients and a strong focus on continuous training to ensure patients stay safe. We have also invested in digital x-ray systems that minimise radiation exposures to patients when taking x-rays.
Our commitment to quality, compliance and safety also extends to our strong focus on workplace safety.
Any surgical or invasive procedure carries risks. Before proceeding, you should seek a second opinion from an appropriately qualified health practitioner.
