We now have online appointments available with a Pacific Smiles Dentist for patients who cannot or prefer not to attend one of our open locations due to the impact of COVID-19.

How can we help?
Our Teledentistry consultation will allow you to discuss with a Pacific Smiles Dentist any pain you may be experiencing or any concerns you have about your oral health. As a patient of Pacific Smiles, with your permission, Dentists are able to access your previous history and x-rays to support your consultation. The Dentist will discuss any dental concerns with you and recommend next steps. This may include a recommendation for you to attend one of our open centres.

How does it work?
Submit your appointment request and we call you to schedule an appointment with a Dentist. The appointment will use a secure and encrypted video conferencing link that will not require you to download any software, simply click the link to connect.

Payment is completed by credit card over the phone at the time of scheduling and a standard consultation is $48*. This fee may be claimable post payment through your health fund if you have dental as part of your extras cover, and we will send you your receipt via email to be able to do so.

Teledentistry is a form of telehealth and is a video consultation between a patient and their health practitioner. *Teledentistry offer: Offer covers a Teledentistry consultation (919). Services will only be provided where clinically necessary and appropriate for eligible patients. Offer subject to appointment availability with participating practitioners. Patients may be referred to additional registered dentists practising at other Pacific Smiles Centres (or another dentist of their choice) if treatment needs require such referral. Patients will be unable to access any Medicare Dental Schemes (Veterans Affairs, Child Dental Benefits Schedule) as part of a Telehealth appointment. If referred to such dentists, patients will be required to pay the relevant dentist’s standard fees. Patients consent to Pacific Smiles Dental providing a copy of their health records to the relevant Telehealth Practitioner for the purpose of providing dental care. Health records will remain at their original Pacific Smiles Dental Centre and will be maintained in accordance with Pacific Smile’s policies. Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or Government scheme and is not substitutable or redeemable for cash.
