Introducing three new Mulgrave dentists

We’d like to introduce you to three of our new dentists who will be seeing patients at our new Mulgrave centre, opening 17th May 2017.

new dentists at Mulgrave Dental Clinic

Dr Anna Huang
Dr Anna Huang graduated as dentist in 2009 and worked at a highly selective residency program at Westmead Hospital. Here, she received training under many dental and medical specialists, and rotated through various dental departments including Paediatrics, Endodontics, Prosthodontics, Periodontics, IV sedation, Emergency, Special Needs, Medically Compromised and Anaesthetics.

She then worked as a senior dental officer at Nepean Hospital where she was both a clinical educator for the University of Sydney and a mentor for graduate dental officers working at Nepean.

Anna’s private practice experience includes both general dentistry and dental sedation in metropolitan and rural areas across the country (she is a Dental Board of Australia endorsed dental sedationist).  When Anna is not working at Pacific Smiles Dental, she enjoys treating patients in remote areas of Victoria with the Royal Flying Doctor Service. Every year, Anna attends continuing education courses in dentistry, and undergoes extensive dental sedation re-endorsement training including the management of medical emergencies.
At work, Anna likes spending time getting to know her patients before starting dental treatment. Anna believes in quality dental care in gentle manner. Anna is qualified to provide dental treatment under nitrous oxide (happy gas).

Outside work, Anna enjoys taking her children to the bike park, decorating specialty birthday cakes, travelling, and watching cooking shows with her husband.

Dr Nada Younis
Dr Younis graduated from College of Dentistry in Baghdad, and has over 20 years of clinical dentistry experience. In 2003, Dr Younis migrated with her family to beautiful New Zealand and made it home. In 2017, Dr Younis decided to follow her children and move to Melbourne, and she has found it to be a very nice city to live in.

Dr Younis says “I love Dentistry and I enjoy my work and find it very exciting to meet with people every day. Going to work for me is like meeting with friends and making new friends while enjoying practicing dentistry. What I like about dentistry is that it is a very nice combination of Medicine, science, care for people and art. My major interest in dentistry is cosmetic dentistry, restoring badly broken teeth and root canal treatment.”

Dr Younis believes in having an open, honest dialogue with patients about their dental care.  By discussing the concerns of patients openly, whether it is something they would like to change about their smile, or what to expect during a procedure, she believes providing the most information possible is the best way to help patients reach and maintain optimal oral health.

In her spare time she enjoys traveling (road trips are a favourite), cooking, and spending time with family and friends.

Dr Abeer Kamil
Dr Abeer graduated 1995. She has over 20 years of experience in general dentistry; however she has a strong interest towards restorative and cosmetic dentistry.

One of Dr Abeer’s top priorities is making sure her patients have a positive dental experience. With her bubbly personality and caring nature, Dr Abeer enjoys providing preventative and aesthetic dentistry. She believes in caring for her patients with a personalised approach while providing them with the best possible dental experience.

Dr Abeer speaks fluent English and Arabic.
